To the Dads and families of Marist College.

We’re partnering with The Fathering Project to support the dads and father figures of our young people. We are aiming to bring together the fathers and father-figures of our school and their children, for a few events a year.

We are inviting the following people which includes but is not limited to: fathers, step fathers, grandfathers, uncles, old brothers (who are mature enough to take on this role), a trusted male family member or friend. As is so often the case (especially at our dads and kids events), mums are welcome to come along as they may be taking the role of both mum and dad for that night or for the long-term.
This is a fun and social way to get to know each other, support the community and other father figures and, most importantly, spend quality time with your sons and daughters. Some gatherings will be for fathers and father figures only, others will include sons and daughters. Siblings are welcome at these events as they are inclusive and not limited to students of Marist College.
We are launching at:

7.00pm on Wednesday June 16th in the Senior Pavilion.

This event is for the adults and there will be other events in the year where we will welcome children. We look forward to getting to know you and supporting you as a dad or father figure.
To the mums, you are very welcome to attend the launch and/or ask/tag your child’s father or father figures and invite them to get involved!
